OtterBound Orientation
Description
Let’s get started! As a CWI Dual Credit student, attending an OtterBound Orientation is the first step of your journey to earning a college degree by the time you graduate high school.
In this online Zoom group session, you will learn about the OtterBound program, ask questions, and get the steps to move forward.
In this session, you’ll learn:
- What OtterBound is, what to expect, and how to apply.
- Degree options, costs, and funding opportunities.
- Answers to common questions from other students who are starting at the same time.
Recommended before You Attend:
These items are not required to attend orientation, but having them ready will make the OtterBound application and advising process easier if you decide to move forward. Please keep these documents for your own records—you do not need to send them to the Dual Credit Office before orientation.
- Request a copy of your high school transcript from your high school.
- Download a copy of your unofficial college transcripts from any college where you have taken classes or earned credit.
- Identify the majors you like most at CWI.
Attendance Requirements:
- Attendance is required in order to complete an OtterBound application.
- Students must be present with their camera on for the entire session to receive attendance credit.
- Parents/guardians are welcome to attend but are not required.
